We loved living at Twiggs House for the last five years!
The condo provided us a lovely, easy to manage, living space. The open floor plan was ideal for cooking, entertaining, and relaxing at home. Our neighbors were friendly and created a quiet but strong community.
During the week, I walked downtown to work everyday. My husband drove to work, and appreciated the ease of our garage.
On weekends, we often hung out at the pool (and almost always had the space to ourselves). We loved walking to French Truck Coffee for fresh roasted coffee and to the Green Fork for smoothies. Our other favorite haunts included the Oyster Bar at Peche, the Courtyard Brewery, High Volt Cafe, Surrey’s, Lilly’s, Circle Bar, and Magazine Pizza. We’d walk down into the French Quarter and uber back in the evenings. We also had a dry cleaners, pharmacy, market, hair salon, and amazing wine store (Kiefe & Co) nearby.
On the Fourth of July, we would climb up on the roof and watch the fireworks explode up and down the river. During Mardi Gras, we’d wander around the corner and watch the parades and brass bands pass by. All year long, we took daily walks on the promenade down Camp Street to Coliseum Square.
Twiggs House is full of character and beauty and also provides extremely convenient living!
